A steady summit day
Angsi sits in the useful middle of the block: a real summit and a moderate 373 m descent at 13.6%, without the six-hour scrambles or the marathon distances. A good all-round hill day — the stepping stone between the urban rep hills and the big descent trainers.

What to expect
- Half a day. Our recording was 5:13 door to door, 2:26 of it moving — a comfortable morning-to-early-afternoon hill.
- A real summit. +592 m to an 825 m top with a proper peak to stand on, not just a viewpoint.
- Steady, moderate ground. A 13.6% descent — firmer and less punishing than the steep scrambles, good for building general hill fitness.
- Popular and marked. One of Negeri Sembilan’s best-known trails; start reasonably early and carry water.
