Trek cost calculator
What will your Nepal trek cost?
Pick a trek and your trip length for a 2026 budget estimate in USD and RM — independent teahouse-style, with the typical guided package alongside. Every number comes from our own cost guides, so it's a real estimate, not a made-up figure. It's a planning number, not a quote, and it excludes international flights to Nepal.
Sourced 2026 estimate — not a quote. Excludes international flights to Nepal. Figures come straight from our cost guide; the exchange rate moves, so treat RM as a guide.
How this is worked out
The independent estimate isn't a guess. We take the per-day on-trail cost from our cost guides and add the fixed costs that don't change with days — permits, transfers to and from the trailhead, and, for Everest Base Camp, the Lukla return flight. It's calibrated so that at the typical trip length it lands exactly on the range our cost guides publish; moving the days slider scales it from there. The guided figure is the published market range for a typical package — those are quoted trip-by-trip, so we show the range rather than compute it.
What it can't know is you. Eat dal bhat, take shared jeeps and skip the hot showers, Wi-Fi and bottled water, and you'll sit at the low end; add the comforts and you climb. Use it to plan, then read the full breakdown for your trek:
